ISM Recruitment is now hiring a General Operative for our client a leading wholesaler based in South County Dublin. The ideal candidates will have at least 1 years’ experience of working in a busy warehouse. Being able to work on your own and as part of a team is needed in this role.
Responsibilities:
Assist with picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Maintain stock in designated warehouse locations and keep accurate records where required.
Load, unload, and move stock safely within the warehouse.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company health and safety procedures.
Follow manual handling procedures and use lifting equipment safely.
Work effectively as part of the warehouse team while also being able to complete tasks independently.
Meet daily productivity targets and deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Support general warehouse operations and undertake additional duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Candidate Requirements:
Current Manual Handling Certificate.
Counterbalance certificate but not essential
A calm, cooperative approach.
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good spoken and written communication skills, including English language proficiency.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5pm
