ISM’s Driving for Work on-road training is designed for HGV management and staff within the transport and logistics industries, equipping them with the skills, abilities, and knowledge needed to understand, identify, evaluate, and manage risks associated with professional driving. This includes employees who:
- Use their own HGV fleet for work purposes.
- Drive company-provided vehicles.
Our Driving for Work on-road training is ideal for rigid or artic drivers who need assessment and training to adhere to their organisation’s safe driving policies. All participants must hold a full, valid driving license for the relevant vehicle category. Drivers will undergo a two-hour assessment with one of our RSA Approved Driving Instructors. Upon completion, employers will receive a detailed report for each driver, including a low, medium, or high-risk evaluation. Further training may be recommended based on the driver’s assessment results.
