Certificate of Professional Competence for Drivers and Managers

Any individual employed as a professional bus or truck driver qualifies for CPC. This is a legal requirement enforced by An Garda Síochána and RSA Transport Officers. Any individual who manages a Road Haulage or Passenger Transport business is legally required to hold a valid CPC in accordance with Road Traffic and Transport Legislation.

The certification is provided through the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. At ISM, we have CPC Modular Training for professional truck and bus drivers and a CPC Transport Manager course for Road Haulage and Passenger transport managers.

ADR Hazardous Chemical

ADR regulations apply to any individual responsible for the movement of dangerous goods by road, in tanks, in bulk and in packages under the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.

Drivers who are transporting dangerous goods are legally required to have the appropriate training and hold a certificate of proof of training. Upon completion of their training course, participants will have the training and certification required to work under ADR regulations. At ISM, we have a range of ADR courses to suit those seeking basic, specialisation or refresher training.
