This course is for workers regularly using power tools such as angle grinders, chop saws and con saws onsite. An employer’s legal duty is to ensure that an employee has completed training and is authorised in writing to use the specific abrasive wheel in their workplace. This training will give trainees the knowledge, skills and certification to work competently and without risk.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding the legislation
- Knowing the components, assembly and method of storing, handling and transporting a wheel
- Learning the process of wheel balancing and dressing
