Safe Pass Training
One‑day SOLAS‑accredited Safe Pass course designed to ensure workers in the construction industry have the required safety awareness to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Who Should Attend:
This course is suitable for:
- Craft workers
- Apprentices
- General construction workers
- Working chargehands
- On‑site security personnel
- Contractors’ drivers on‑site
- Delivery drivers on‑site (e.g. concrete truck drivers)

Prerequisites:
All participants must provide the following:
- One passport‑sized photograph
- Valid photographic ID (passport, driving licence, social services card, etc.)
- Irish PPS Number
- Proof of PPS Number (Social Welfare card or payslip showing PPS number)
- Good level of written and spoken English (course delivered in English only)
Important:
A valid Irish PPS Number is mandatory to attend Safe Pass training.
Participants who cannot provide all required documentation will be refused entry.

- Duties and responsibilities at work
- Noise and vibration
- Accident reporting and prevention
- Promoting a safety culture
- Working at heights
- Excavations and confined spaces
- Working with electricity and overhead services
- Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Safe use of vehicles
- Manual handling
- Working with hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Health and hygiene
Certification:
SOLAS Safe Pass Card
Issued to participants who successfully complete the full‑day training.
