Our client a leading Office Furniture logistics company are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused HGV driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for transporting and delivering high-quality furniture products safely and efficiently to retail stores and residential customers across both Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for driving, loading/unloading deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
” Safely operate Category C HGV vehicles
” Complete nationwide and NI deliveries
” Load, unload, and secure furniture safely
” Carry out daily vehicle checks
” Maintain delivery records and tachograph compliance
” Deliver directly to customers’ homes and businesses
” Provide professional and friendly customer service
” Assist warehouse operations when required
Candidate Requirements:
” Full Category C driving licence
” Valid Driver CPC
” Valid Digital Tachograph Card
” Up to 1 year’s previous driving experience on Irish or UK Roads essential
” Experience with multi-drop deliveries
” Good knowledge of Irish road networks
Hours of Work:
” Monday to Friday 6-7am starts (depends on the business needs)
1 overnight stay To the North of Ireland EVERY 2 weeks (expenses all covered)
