Salary and Benefits:
€40,000 to €45,000 Per Year DOE

Company:
Our client, a leading well-established freight forwarding company based in Santry, Dublin; with over 45 years of experience in the logistics and freight industry is seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join their team.

Responsibilities:
Complete freight collections and deliveries to and from Dublin Airport & deliver and collect cargo from businesses across Dublin.
Ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Secure loads correctly and comply with all road transport regulations.
Maintain excellent customer service standards when dealing with customers and suppliers.
Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Assist with loading and unloading where required.

Candidate Requirements:
Valid Driving License (Category C)
Current Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of Dublin road network and surrounding areas
Strong understanding of transport and road safety regulations
Reliable, punctual, and flexible regarding overtime requirements
Good communication and organisational skills
Previous freight forwarding or airport freight experience would be an advantage

Hours of Work:
Standard working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Due to the nature of the freight forwarding industry, regular overtime is required on most evenings, particularly for deliveries and collections to and from Dublin Airport
Overtime is paid at Time & a Half
