Company:
Our client, a leading Transport and Logistics company, are recruiting for reliable and experienced Transport Operations Specialists to join their team based in North Dublin.
This role acts as a central coordination point between planners, drivers, customers, and depots, helping to maintain smooth, safe, and cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities:
Support daily planning and execution of transport schedules and assist with route optimisation and resource utilisation
Act as a point of contact for drivers during operations and liaise with workshop and fleet teams regarding vehicle availability
Communicate with customers regarding collections, deliveries, and service issues
Update Transport Management Systems (TMS) accurately and maintain operational records and documentation
Support compliance with road transport, health & safety, and company policies
Assist with audits, investigations, and incident reporting
Candidate Requirements:
2 years’ experience in a transport or logistics operations role
Knowledge of Irish and EU transport regulations
Experience with TMS or fleet management systems desirable
A background in haulage, logistics, or distribution would be an advantage
Previous customer service experience essential, via telephone and email
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload
Working to deadlines
Hours of Work:
Full Time
40 hours per week
5am – 5pm
