ISM Recruitment is seeking flexible, dedicated, and experienced Healthcare Assistants for temporary, flexible placements in healthcare settings. You will be providing essential care and support to elderly residents while working within a team of skilled healthcare professionals. This opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience, meet new people, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Providing compassionate personal care and support to service users
Building positive relationships and creating a warm reassuring environment
Helping individuals maintain their independence, confidence and wellbeing
Supporting clients with daily activities such as mobility, meals and companionship
Working alongside nurses and healthcare teams
Bringing patience, empathy and a positive attitude to every shift
Following care plans and maintaining professionalism
Adapting to different care environments
Candidate Requirements:
QQI/FETAC qualification in healthcare or equivalent.
Patient handling certificate.
Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
Proficient English language skills and strong communication abilities.
Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
Own car is beneficial but not essential.
For Garda Vetting Applicants are required to produce, Passport from country of citizenship, Irish/EU/UK Driving Licence or Learner Permit, Irish Certificate of Naturalisation or National Identity Card (EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens). Applicants who do not have 1 of the above identify documents cannot be considered*
Hours of Work:
Night shifts: 8 PM – 8 AM
Day shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM
