Who Should Attend?
ISM’s Driving for Work on-road training is designed for both management and staff, equipping them with the skills, abilities, and knowledge needed to understand, identify, evaluate, and manage risks associated with driving as part of their organisation’s operational activities. This includes employees who:
- Use their own cars for work purposes.
- Drive company-provided vehicles, such as vans or HGVs.
Our Driving for Work on-road training is ideal for car, van, or HGV drivers who need assessment and training to adhere to their organisation’s safe driving policies. All participants must hold a full, valid driving license for the relevant vehicle category. Drivers will undergo a two-hour assessment with one of our RSA Approved Driving Instructors. Upon completion, employers will receive a detailed report for each driver, including a low, medium, or high-risk evaluation. Further training may be recommended based on the driver’s assessment results.

- Final Assessment (40 mins): Measuring improvements and adaptability.
