About the job:
As a Rigid driver you will work to support Airline catering operations by transporting, loading, and unloading catering supplies and equipment between facilities and aircraft at Dublin Airport.
The successful candidate will be working within a high-security, safety-critical, and time-sensitive airport environment that requires a professional, customer-facing approach when dealing with airline crew and customers.

Reporting to Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Conduct pre- and post-use vehicle safety checks and report defects
Operate rigid catering trucks landside and airside in full compliance with road traffic legislation, airport regulations and company procedures
Use digital tachographs correctly and sign vehicles in and out as required
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
Service aircraft using hydraulic scissor lifts and work safely at height
Load aircraft in accordance with galley plans, airline specifications, and company policies
Deliver and remove catering trolleys, returning used equipment to designated departments
Handle food, beverages (including alcohol), and retail items safely
Ensure vehicles are security-checked, sealed, and documented before airside operations
Complete all security documentation, delivery notes, and obtain crew sign-off where required
Comply with aviation security, food safety, and company standards, including Garda Vetting and a 5-year background check
Work collaboratively with operations, dispatch, cabin crew, and airport stakeholders
Meet strict aircraft turnaround times and adapt to operational demands
Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by management
Additional Operational Requirements (Occasional):
Occasional long-distance runs to Shannon Airport (approximately once every 6 weeks)
Ability to drive left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles if required

Candidate Requirements:
Min 2 years ADR Rigid Truck Driving experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider
Full Clean Driving Licence (C)
Tacho Digi Card
Up to date CPC Card
Good level of written and spoken English
Excellent working track record

Hours of Work:
Full time, long term
Monday to Friday
Every second Saturday if required
AM shift
