Company Description:
Our client operates within the food distribution sector, handling a range of imported goods in a chilled warehouse environment. They offer flexible, ad hoc work with opportunities to learn and develop practical warehouse skills.
Candidate Requirements:
Physically fit and capable of manual handling (high-volume unloading)
Comfortable working in a chilled environment
Willing to handle food products.
Strong work ethic and ability to work at pace
Reliable and available on short notice
Counterbalance forklift experience beneficial but not essential
Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
Unloading containers (approx. 3,500 boxes per container)
Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
Handling food products in a chilled environment
Supporting general warehouse operations
Working efficiently to meet unloading targets
Other Duties:
Assisting warehouse team as required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health & safety procedures
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday (ad hoc – not required every day)
7:30am – 3:30pm
